Meet Callie Grace!

Tina, Matt, Claire, and Gus welcomed our new cousin on December 10! Meet Callie Grace!

Callie's named after her great-great-great-great grandmother Callie Burks Clayton [1862-1933] who was the matriarch of the Burks Distillery down in Loretto, Kentucky. Y'all know that same joint today is in much better hands with a far better recipe. Callie's middle name, is from Uncle Matt's sister Megan Grace. Our girls know her better as Aunt "Mey Mey"...they adopt all their cousins' family as their own.

In a stroke of blind scheduling luck, Gigi and Papa came to Louisville for their Christmas visit the same day Callie came! So they got to meet her too!!

A quick snowstorm brewed up while we were in the hospital seeing Callie; so we had to get our Gulf Coast grandma back in the heat!! Gigi does not miss the Louisville winters! 

After getting her own self well, Mary Thomas finally got her hands on her newest gal pal shortly thereafter!

Girls rule.
